Geneva - introduction

The Lake Geneva

Geneva represents the second most populous Swiss city (after Zürich). It is situated in the very south-western part of Switzerland where the Rhône River exits Lake Geneva. Geneva is widely regarded as a global city, especially due to the fact that numerous international organizations, including the headquarters of many of the agencies of the United Nations, placed their seats here. Geneva is supposed to have on of the highest qualities of living in the world.
